Welcome to the refreshed Western Australian Youth Orchestras (WAYO) website, also launching our 2012 Prospectus. You may have noticed we are proudly reverting back to our WAYO name for the Association, both in recognition of our outstanding 38-year history as well as looking forward to a bright future.

WAYO is justifiably excited about the eight ensembles it is offering in 2012, from the flagship WA Youth Orchestra to our junior string ensembles - the Sinfonietta and Collegium, as well as the Philharmonic Orchestra, the Flute Choir and the Symphonic Band. We also welcome in its second year the two groups comprising the South West Youth Strings - giving regional young people in the south west access to our programs and great music making opportunities.

WAYO continues to receive outstanding support from our principal partner Woodside as well as the State Government of Western Australia through the Department of Culture and the Arts. We would also like to acknowledge our many donors and supporters who along with our sponsors and funders assist our terrific programs and keep our member fees within financial reach of all Western Australians.

We hope to see you in one of our many ensembles. As a valued member you will be rehearsing under the direction of Western Australia's most qualified, experienced and exciting musicians, making lifelong friends and performing in Western Australia's finest concert venues.
