South West Youth Strings

In 2011 WA Youth Music established two full time string youth orchestras that will meet weekly in the South West with the support of local communities. For more information about joining the South West Youth Strings in 2012, please download our Prospectus and fill in the Application Form.

Fridays 4.30pm - 6pm at Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School during school terms

Performances

Perth Concert Hall, Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre, local schools (dates to be advised)

How to join

In order to create an inclusive, supportive and non-competitive environment, membership will be available via application and not audition for 2012. Applicants will be placed in one of the two string ensembles according to their level and ability.

Please fill out the application form at the end of the Prospectus on our Auditions page, and return it to the WA Youth Orchestras office for processing.
