Flute Choir

The award winning WA Youth Music Flute Choir is an advanced group of flautists who are provided with the opportunity to develop their ensemble skills and individual technique whilst rehearsing and performing classic and contemporary flute ensemble repertoire.

Flute Choir conductor and experienced educator, Jan Holdsworth, has been associated with the ensemble since its inception. The ensemble has a broad depth of experience from recent successes at flute eisteddfods, and continues to participate in local and national flute masterclasses and competitions.

The ensemble performs annually at Winthrop Hall and the Perth Concert Hall.

Members have access to a full range of piccolo, alto and bass flutes owned by WA Youth Music.
