Outreach Program

Thanks to the support of Healthway 'Smarter than Smoking', WA Youth Music members regularly perform to audiences in Perth and regional Western Australia who would not otherwise have the opportunity to hear live orchestral music.

Focused on the concept of “peers performing for peers”, the highly-successful 2007 Schools at Risk outreach concerts program saw the Collegium Orchestra perform to over 500 school children around the Perth metropolitan area.  For many audience members, this provided their first opportunity to experience the instruments of an orchestra first-hand.
